That night there was full moon. Sean knew
it, and he was very frightened. He locked the door so his wife and daughter
couldn't get in. He shut the drapes so the really bright light couldn’t go into the room. He was alone, sitting in
the dark in front of a shattered mirror. He started to cry, and all of a
sudden, the pain began.
At first, his jaw was dislocated, and his
teeth became bigger and sharper. His mouth changed into a snout; his eyes
became bigger and more frightening than ever. His chest grew, ripping his shirt off, and his legs became stronger. By the
time his transformation was complete, he had already lost his mind. And unfortunately, someone
arrived home.

“Hi, Darling”, a woman's voice said. “Where are you?’
“Come out here, Daddy!” a kid said.
Suddenly, he howled. A long, deep, cold
sound.
“Darling? What's going
on?” she asked, moving
closer to the only shut door in the house.
“Come on, Daddy, you go
out. Don't fool us”. She was too young,
too naive to figure out what was happening. However,
her mother had a feeling of what was going on, but it was too ridiculous to be
true.
But it was.
Then, they heard another howl, and the
werewolf started to hit the door. His daughter started to cry, too scared to move, and so was he mother.
And eventually, the door couldn’t stand any more blows. And it opened.
Both mother and daughter fell silent, too scared even to scream.
“Daddy?”, the little girl cried. “Daddy?”
Her daddy didn’t answer. He faced her, his snout against her little nose. He
sniffed her as she brought her little hand closer to that horrible face, her
mother too frightened to stop her.
And he bit her, ripped her little arm out.
She screamed so loud it annoyed him, so he finished her quickly, biting her
neck and killing her instantly. Her little dead body was bleeding on the floor.
Her mother reacted and grabbed her from the
ground, and her tears mixed with the warm blood of her daughter. She was too
devastated to face him, but he didn’t care. He was so hungry he jumped on her, scratching her chest with
his claws, biting her face, her arms, until he ripped her heart off, silencing
her shriek forever.
But this wasn’t enough for him. He howled so loud all the neighbourhood heard it. Better for him. Now they were all awake, and he was coming for them.
The brightest night had just become the darkest one.
